STEP BY STEP REPAIRS
Fivestar Belt Replacement
 
  • Open Machine
    • Confirm that the power cord is disconnected from the wall.
    • Locate the two black caps at the front of the machine and remove them to uncover the Phillips head screw underneath.
    • Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws and tilt the machine open.
 
 
  • Remove Belt Limit Bracket and Brush
    • Locate the belt limit bracket and remove by pulling straight up with your hand.
    • Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the brush and brush retainers in place.
    • Remove the brush from the machine while keeping the brush retainers intact on the brush with your hands.
 
  • Clean Brush and Replace Belt
    • Using a stiff brush or your hand, clean any debris off the brush roll.
    • Slide the belt off of the pulley and replace it with a new belt.
    • Reconnect the brush and brush retainers with the four Phillips head screws originally removed.
    • Replace the Belt limit Bracket to complete repair
