Fivestar Pump Motor Replacement
Open Machine
Confirm that the power cord is disconnected from the wall.
Locate the two black caps at the front of the machine and remove them to uncover the Phillips head screw underneath.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws and tilt the machine open.
Remove Pump Motor
Disconnect the pump wiring harness by pulling apart the plastic connector, being careful not to remove wires from the connectors themselves.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, locate and remove the four Phillips head screws holding the pump motor in place.
Disconnect or loosen the two hose clamps located on the two hoses connected to the male nylon elbows on the pump head with a flathead screw driver.
Remove the two hoses from the pump, making sure you know which hose goes to which port.
Pull the pump out of the machine.
Replace Pump Motor
Place new pump motor assembly manufacturer part # into the machine.
Reconnect wiring harness by connecting the plastic connectors.
Push grey water hoses back onto the male nylon inlet and outlet ports on the pump head.
Once the hoses are in place, tighten hose clamps using a flathead screw driver until the hoses are secure.
Replace the four Phillips head screws to secure the pump to the chassis of the machine using a Phillips head screw driver to complete the repair
