Confirm that the power cord is disconnected from the wall.
Locate the two black caps at the front of the machine and remove them to uncover the Phillips head screw underneath.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws and tilt the machine open.
Remove Pump Motor
Disconnect the pump wiring harness by pulling apart the plastic connector, being careful not to remove wires from the connectors themselves.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, locate and remove the four Phillips head screws holding the pump motor in place.
Disconnect or loosen the two hose clamps located on the two hoses connected to the male nylon elbows on the pump head.
Remove the two hoses from the pump.
Pull the pump out of the machine.
Remove Vacuum Motor
Locate and remove the three Phillips head screws holding the vacuum motor in place.
Gently remove the vacuum by easing it out side to side until the gasket underneath the vacuum releases it.
Once the vacuum motor is out of the machine, inspect and replace vacuum gasket if necessary. This is a critical step for the performance and life of your machine.
