The best I found was the Prochem Cheyenne, a popular choice for carpet cleaning companyies. Prochem’s Cheyenne offers 12 gallon solution & recovery tanks, a 100 psi pump, a 3 & 2 stage vac and runs on a single electrical cord. However, Prochem stopped manufacturing the Cheyenne. I had to shop for a replacement portable extraction machine.

I was fortunate to find Edic’s Galaxy Pro. The Galaxy Pro boasts a 17 gallon solution and recovery tank, 500 psi pump, two 3 stage vacs and runs on a single electrical cord. Apparently, the Galaxy Pro has amperage efficiencies. Both weigh about the same. The Cheyenne offered a 1 year warrantee, the Galaxy Pro offers a two year warrantee. EDIC’s Galaxy Pro costs only a little bit more than the Prochem Cheyenne.

I previously bought 4 Prochem Cheyenne portable extractors. Now I only buy EDIC’s Galaxy Pro. I like the improved carpet cleaning features and two year warranty.
